The Fair Isle technique has been around for centuries, but can easily be learned within a couple of hours. Practice knitting in the round with two colors (one in each hand) while making a colorful little bag or bowl (recommended yarn will be enough to complete two projects). Discover the beauty of corrugated ribbing, then learn to read charts like a pro and to trap those pesky floats.
