You may have conquered knitting socks from the cuff down to the toe (or maybe you haven’t yet!), but have you tried knitting them from the toe up? Practice knitting small circumferences on either one or two long circular needles while learning how to knit a very simple pair of custom-fit socks from the toe up.
(Three 2-hour sessions)
- 100 g of any sock-weight yarn (please note that you’ll have a MUCH easier time if you can see the stitches!)
- either one circular needle at least 40 inches in length, or two circular needles of any lengths, one size smaller than you would usually use with the yarn chosen
- stitch markers
- safety pins
- darning needle
